Within the 1980’s many college systems decided that the humanities should be either eradicated or curtailed within the curricula. Individualized curriculum – AIE students are given great freedom to choose their own tutorial pathway, studying subjects as varied as common design and technology, learning in museums, leadership in social-change organizations, gender and sexuality in schools, politics and academic coverage, adolescent growth, neuroscience, and more.

Wendy Mages, Ed.D.’08, who took Jessica Davis’s two courses throughout the late 1990s, in 2017 contributed an article, Drama-based Interventions and Narrative,” to The Routledge Worldwide Handbook of Early Literacy Training: A Modern Guide to Literacy Teaching and Interventions in a Global Context , revealed in New York by the Taylor & Francis Group.

Before the axing of heads, artwork teachers in our district were given the opportunity to show in keeping with the Nationwide Instructional Requirements This was a daunting activity, but to me, it brought much more vitality and importance to teaching art in my art room.arts to education
